This Privacy Policy explains how Econo Liquor collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit this website (the “Site”) or buy from us. We handle personal information in line with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.

When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address and phone number. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Moneris. We do not store your full card number. We call this “Order Information.”

We use Order Information to process and deliver your orders, take payment, send order confirmations and updates, confirm that you are of legal drinking age, prevent fraud, and answer your questions. We use Device Information to keep the Site secure, screen for fraud (in particular, your IP address), and improve the Site, for example by understanding which pages our customers visit most.
We only share your information with service providers who help us run the store, such as our website host, our payment processor (Moneris), our email delivery service, and whoever delivers your order. They may only use it to provide their service to us. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
We only send you marketing emails if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.
Emails about your orders, such as receipts and delivery updates, are not marketing and will still be sent while you have an order with us.

We keep Order Information for as long as we need it to complete your order and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, it is securely deleted.
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, the legal drinking age in Alberta. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
